Our mission is to enable and encourage students and parents to navigate their educational journeys with confidence, whether through homeschooling, brick-and-mortar schooling, or applying to college. We will partner with you to pursue excellent learning outcomes for your family.

Our team will share the wisdom, ideas, experiences, and lessons we’ve learned through our educational journeys, from choosing homeschooling curriculum or dual enrollment courses to developing an accountability plan for completing assignments to designing high school transcripts and planning college admissions essays.

With over 18 years of experience homeschooling children from kindergarten through high school, we’ve made multiple mistakes, faced unexpected challenges, and created incredible memories with our families. We’ve also experimented with many different curriculums and group learning settings, including co-ops, online classes, part-time and full-time public school, and dual enrollment classes. As we watch our children pursue degrees and careers in fields they love, we are grateful for the opportunities and doors their educational experiences have opened, and we are confident that we can assist you and your family in discovering the educational plan that best suits your needs.

Hi, I’m Karlyn Sullivan!

I’m a homeschooling mom who gets excited about helping people organize their lives around the people they are passionate about. And sometimes, as my family can attest to, this excitement makes me a little too loud. How can it not? I love to share when I discover something is excellent and oftentimes, this includes homeschooling.

I hold a B.A. in Education from the University of Florida and homeschooled my four children from kindergarten through high school graduation. I have tried the traditional homeschool approach, homeschool co-ops, part public school/part homeschool, online classes, dual enrollment, Classical Conversations, and have had many successes and failures. My favorite part of homeschooling was the time I was able to invest in my children’s education. I loved learning along with my children and enriching my own education. I finally understand fractions! We survived the college admissions process and I would love to share what I have learned along the way.

While my husband and I call sunny Tampa, Florida, home, we are often on the road visiting our two daughters in New York City, one working as a private equity associate and one as a business strategy consultant; another daughter in Atlanta who is a photography entrepreneur; and our son who is studying finance at Auburn University.

Hi, I’m Kathryn Brannan!

I’m a mom who tried a variety of educational choices for my three boys, including private Christian school, homeschooling for 11 years (including experiences with a part-time university model school, several co-ops, Classical Conversations, and the Florida Virtual School), and public high school. I also taught Latin to homeschooled students along the way. After homeschooling, I helped a friend start a classical Christian school, where I taught for eight years. With a love for a well-chosen word and for accurate grammar, I am passionate about encouraging students as they pursue their educational goals.

I earned a B.A. in Political Science from Furman University and a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. Homeschooling provided flexibility in family life and excellence in our boys’ educational foundations. It was a fun, hard-working, memory-making journey; I am thankful to have invested so personally in my children’s education. In this current season, I support families through their various educational challenges, whether in homeschooling or traditional school settings, as they develop organizational and academic skills and/or prepare for their college journeys.

I have been a Floridian for 35 years (having married a Floridian), and my husband and I love being a part of our large Brannan family. We enjoy keeping up with our three sons: two of them near Washington, DC – one working as a financial analyst and one as a mechanical engineer – and our third son studying mechanical engineering at Grove City College in western Pennsylvania.
